An adventure into the remote backcountry of the Savegre River (considered one of the most pristine rivers in the country!) for a 4-hour guided rafting trip with Class II / III / IV rapids. First, you will be transferred to the river by 4-wheel drive. Then, choose from rafts for six people and inflatable kayaks for two. Navigate by swimming holes and among a great variety of birds (egrets, toucans, osprey, parrots, kingfishers, and cormorants, to name some). You will stop in the little village of Rio Blanco for a tico-style lunch. Enjoy your meal under a thatched roof with great views, and afterward, visit the restaurant's nature path. You will also stop to visit some of the most beautiful waterfalls in this shady Garden of Eden, where heliconias bloom.
