By The Pacific on Playa Esterillos Este, is situated between Jaco
Beach and Quepos, with beachfront villas plus the architecture,
art, hospitality and many amenities guests have come to enjoy at
the original Xandari Plantation Resort & Spa in the Central
Valley. Xandari By The Pacific is just a two-hour drive from the
San Jose International Airport and only 15 minutes from the town
of Jaco. Spacious private Ocean View Villas all feature a large
terrace from which to enjoy unencumbered, panoramic views of the
Pacific Ocean, a private walled-garden, sitting area, mini-bar and
air-conditioning plus fan. The villas' generous-sized bathrooms
feature mosaic-tiled showers that open to private gardens. Each
villa is a separate building, designed by owner and architect Sherrill
Broudy, with original paintings, mosaics and tapestries by artist
Charlene Broudy.In addition to the Ocean View Villas, there are also Garden Villas with lush, expansive walled gardens and patios that are very private and have areas for sunning. The villas are located next to the swimming pools with private gated entrances. All villas have mini-kitchens offering mini-bars, dishes and glasses, coffeemaker, and a selection of coffee, teas, snacks, juices and water free of charge. All villas are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a security safe, hair dryer, extra fan, telephone, alarm clock, CD player, desk, table and chairs, and chaise lounges on the terrace. Built-in sofas can be used as extra single beds. Villas sleep 4-5 persons. The open-air thatched palm roof pavilion restaurant and bar has sweeping views of the beach and gardens from every table. Featuring healthy, gourmet international and Costa Rican dishes, the emphasis is on fresh seafood and produce, with many fruits, vegetables and herbs grown in Xandari's own gardens. The shell-strewn, long, expansive and scenic beach is perfect for walking, jogging, exploring and sunbathing. Dramatic waves have made this a renowned surfing beach. There's ample shade under the palm and almond trees, plus umbrellas for lounging, and there's almost always a refreshing breeze. The sky at sunset is breathtaking. The facilities include a lap swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, in-room massage, paths through ornamental, herb and vegetable gardens, art gallery, artisan shop, internet room, television room, laundry service, plus a wide assortment of birds, iguanas and butterflies! |
