Bay is an all-inclusive, luxury adventure lodge on the pristine
island of Bastimentos in Bocas del Toro, Panama. This secluded destination
caters to travelers seeking off-the-beaten-path vacations filled
with adventure and fun. Nestled among 68 gorgeous tropical islands
that make up the archipelago Bocas del Toro, Tranquilo Bay offers
guests the chance to experience a variety of outdoor activities:
hiking, kayaking, fishing, birding, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming,
relaxing on the beach, surfing and exploring rainforests. The secluded
lodge includes six deluxe cabanas and a main lodge. Tranquilo Bay's
air-conditioned, hand-crafted cabanas boast comfortable bedding
with fine linens and gracious bathrooms complete with granite counters
and plenty of amenities to make your stay relaxing. Each is tastefully
decorated with art and beautiful furnishings hand-made exclusively
for Tranquilo Bay by local artisans in farm-grown hardwoods. The
location of each cabana was carefully selected to capture the essence
and natural beauty of Bocas del Toro, while having a minimal environmental
impact. Do you prefer breathtaking ocean vistas or a verdant tropical
jungle oasis? The choice is all yours. The beautifully constructed
main lodge is the centerpiece of the lodge. This building features
a wrap-around porch, and is where guests assemble for fine dining
and evening cocktails. Because of the lodge's small size, the staff
is able to provide unparalleled personal attention to each guest.
Tranquilo Bay specializes in offering guests fine cuisine in a casual,
tropical environment. The mouth-watering menus feature delicious,
local ingredients such as avocados and hearts of palm. Each day
a unique menu is developed, based on the availability of the freshest
foods. Breakfast offerings include Panamanian coffee, a selection
of tropical juices, fresh local fruits, homemade breads or muffins,
your choice of eggs and a daily breakfast entree. Delectable lunches
are packed for those partaking in offsite activities. And for guests
remaining onsite, there is a choice of salads, sandwiches and soups.
Anytime you need a snack, you can always get one. Just let the staff
know what you crave, and they will provide you with a little something
to tide you over until the next meal. Snack baskets are also provided
in each cabana. Prior to dinner each night, the lodge hosts a cocktail
hour to watch the sunset and enjoy delicious appetizers. All meals
and select beverages are included with the packages. You can choose
from a variety of non-alcoholic beverages (such as fruit juices,
water and sodas), Panamanian beer, Panamanian rum and South American
wine. |
