Santo Tomas is located two blocks from Chichicastenango's Central
Plaza, renown for its Indian Market and the Church of Santo Tomas.
It is a colonial building built around an interior courtyard with
wraparound verandas filled with lush plant life and colorful flowers.
Each of the 43 rooms has a private bath and fireplace, and is decorated
with locally made textiles and handicrafts; most of them have a
balcony with spectacular views of the valleys and mountains that
surround the beautiful town. All have two double beds and telephone.
The patio is filled with flowers, macaws and parrots. The restaurant
overlooks the courtyard and serves good local and international
meals. Hotel Santo Tomas also offers a bar, swimming pool, Jacuzzi,
