Santa Cruz island is
the most important of the inhabited islands of Galapagos archipelago.
Puerto Ayora (Academy Bay) is the largest town, 15.000 people live
and work there mostly in the tourism industry. Built in 1995, the
Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge has a unique architectural design that
blends with mangrove forest and seafront. Its location allows you
to observe the mangrove ecosystem in action as well as the best
view of Puerto Ayora. The lodge owners are committed to maintaining
an eco-friendly operation, therefore the lodge is going through
a process of certification for sustainable management.

The hotel also features
a seaside restaurant with choice of Japanese or Galapagos fusion
cuisine and is considered the best restaurant in town.
ROOMS:
This property has a total of 14 guest accommodations with private
bath. The types of bed include King, Queen and Twin. Three categories
of bedrooms are available: Suites, Superior and Standard. All rooms
offer a Welcome cocktail and purified drinking water. All rooms
and suites are furnished with king size beds and two full and/or
twin beds, 20 channel cable TV, 110 volt electric outlets, air-conditioning,
individual safe deposit boxes, mirror, CD players and alarm clocks,
private bathrooms with hair dryers, bathtubs with temperature control,
biodegradable hair and body products and cotton towels.
SUITES
All four Suites offer scenic views to the ocean and to the bay.
Three of them have private balconies and one has a whirlpool. Two
are located on the second level and two on the third level.
SUPERIOR GUEST ROOMS
There are four Superior guest rooms with ocean views. One of them
is on the upper level and has a private balcony, the rest are located
on the ground level.
STANDARD GUEST ROOMS
There are six Standard guest rooms with mangrove views. Three are
located on the ground level and three on the upper level.
