Outpost Lodge: Located on the outskirts of one of Belize's most impressive
Mayan ruins, Lamanai, the lodge was built on the shores of a fresh-water
lagoon of the New River. The resort boasts 18 hand-built, thatched-roof
cabanas, each with a veranda, private bathroom with hot water, electricity,
and ceiling fans. Amenities include an open-air restaurant and bar with
panoramic views of the jungle and the lagoon, two lecture halls, audio
