March 2008 Jose Antonio Hotels opened its first four-star hotel
in the city of Puno, located at 12467 feet (3800 meters) above sea
level. The four-star hotel, which required a total investment of
some 7.5 million dollars, is on the 7th kilometer of the Puno -
Desaguadero Highway. The hotel has 131 fully-equipped and comfortable
rooms with breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca. The hotel can be
rated as an upgraded four-star hotel because of its additional high quality
services. Each room has a TV, central heating, personal bar, security
box, telephone and anti-noise windows. The hotel also offers a restaurant-bar
and a conference room for 250 people. |
