The wetlands of Cano Negro are considered one of the most diverse ecosystems in Costa Rica.

This cozy lodge is located on a 2000-acre property with walking trails, butterfly trail and garden, and surrounded by lush nature and a rainforest housing hundreds of exotic birds and animals. From its hilltop location the lodge offers a unique panoramic view of the volcano and lake. The lodge has 50 beautiful rooms, a restaurant, gift shop, three Jacuzzis, swimming pool, game room and an outdoor playground area for children, fitness room, steam bath, laundry service and free Internet access.

Arenal Springs
Arenal Springs Hotel is a cozy property with only 65 rooms, all Junior Suites, and all featuring spectacular views of Arenal Volcano. Each room can accommodate up to five people, and they feature their own terrace, king or queen size beds, air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, telephone, security box, private bathroom, hair dryer, and lush tropical gardens. The spacious rooms are furnished in a colonial-rustic style and hotel amenities include a swimming pool, wet bar, restaurant and spa.

Volcano Lodge
Volcano Lodge is located on the side of the road that connects La Fortuna de San Carlos with Lake Arenal. The lodge's 65 spacious and comfortable rooms are tastefully decorated, and all have direct views of Arenal Volcano. All of the rooms are equipped with double beds or a king bed, air-conditioning and a private bathroom. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, spa, hot tub, restaurant, gardens and more. There is also free transport to the Tabacon Hot Springs and wake-up service in case of eruptions!

Mountain Paradise
The Mountain Paradise Hotel has a direct, uninterrupted panoramic view of Arenal Volcano from anywhere on the property, making it an ideal location for observing the world's second most active volcano. Being just a few minutes from the town of La Fortuna, it is a very convenient location to visit many of the area's attractions. Arenal Kioro Hotel
The Arenal Kioro offers a fabulous natural view of Arenal Volcano. The 52 room mountain hotel has 11 hectares (27.1 acres) of undulating land, surrounded by two streams (La Palma and Kioro) with crystalline waters that emanate from Arenal Volcano National Park. Founded in 1985, La Selva Verde Lodge is located in the lush lowlands of northeastern Costa Rica on a large, 500-acre private tract of virgin tropical rainforest and rich second-growth habitats. It is adjacent to Braulio Carrillo National Park and the Organization for Tropical Studies' field station, La Selva, a graduate training and international research center that has been owned and operated by the OTS since 1968.
